Meet the Mendo Mystic Family

We’re a small family-run cannabis farm in Mendocino County. Our story spans decades of growing, parenting, building, surviving, and sharing what we love with our community.

Cindy Browning

Cindy grew up in Willits, raised on a simple country life. Her father was the head sawyer at the local mill, and she learned early how to care for people and plants. By her early teens, she was immersed in local cannabis culture, surrounded by friends and families who grew the herb.

She met Tony in 1990, moved up to the farm, and quickly turned a rugged patch of land into a real home. She’s been growing ever since, raising kids, managing the garden, and keeping the vision alive.

Tony Browning

Tony was born in Hollywood. His father was a film producer and his mother is a glass artist. He moved to Mendocino in the 1970s, drawn by nature and the promise of something quieter. He bought the property in 1986 and started growing right away.

Tony is a builder and artist, crafting woodturned bowls and saggar-fired pottery in the off-season. He’s also the reason the plants stayed alive through the helicopter years, navigating grow sites, water lines, and forest paths most people would never find.

Family Grown

Our kids grew up with the plants. They helped harvest, trimmed with us through the winters, and now help with branding, compliance, and keeping things going. When we say family farm, we mean it.

Mendo Mystic isn’t just a business. It’s how we’ve lived, what we’ve built together, and what we’re still building today.

This isn’t just about flower. It’s about a way of life, about protecting what’s good, and passing something honest to the next generation.
